TEXTILE DESIGN

Textile designing is an integral part of our life and culture. Students in the textile design department are taught weaving, printing and dyeing. Added to it their knowledge of different types of natural and synthetic fabrics with a touch of creativity helps them to design textile in a manner that is useful and beautiful. The teachers in this department have years of experience working as professional textile designers, which helps them to guide the students on the right path. Many of our students have even started opened their own business after graduating from the college. The strong liaison between the college and the industry, through regular workshops and training programs, has opened up a number of career opportunities for the students.
