DESIGN: WOOD AND LEATHER

Discipline of Design: Wood and Leather at GCAC
Department: Wood and Leather

Wood and leather designing are two of the oldest crafts in the world. Students in the department of Design: Wood and Leather learn, besides the basics of designing, the ways to treat each material in a unique way. Both wood and leather are natural elements that need entirely different kinds of treatments. The teachers in this department are veteran artists in the field. They encourage the students to develop their own style of expression using these two materials. After graduating from the college, many students of this department have set up their own business. Regular feedback and analysis of their works help the students to carve out their desired career path.
