NOMENCLATURE OF IQAC

In compliance with the requirement of quality enhancement and maintenance of performance and objective of the higher educational institute, as suggested by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is established in this Higher Educational Institute.

IQAC – GCAC

The IQAC of this premier institute was formed under the guidance of the then Principal Kamalakshya Ganguly with Smt. Swati Bhattacharya as Coordinator in 2010. In spite of the frequent change of OICs at regular intervals, this committee was fairly functional in planning and implementing infrastructural and the academic advancement of the College within the ambits of UGC guidelines. However, it was fully functional with the joining of Prof. Chhatrapati Dutta as principal from 2017 onward.

IQAC of this institution encourages teachers to improve their performances in both curricular and extra-curricular areas. Several seminars/symposiums/workshops has been organized with the help of reputed artists and industry experts to provide quality education to students. The schemes like UGC Plan and merged grants, minor research projects has been implemented under the guidance of the IQAC. It has alumni members, industry experts in the form of representatives which was reintroduced after 2017. The IQAC has played a significant role with its strategic measures to impart quality education for all.
