The department of ceramic art and pottery focuses on using a traditional medium to experiment with creative ideas. The students of this department are taught the basics of design besides the use of the right tools and techniques. They are encouraged to give shape to their personal thoughts through regular critical analysis of their works of art by other students, teachers and artists. Opportunity is provided to the students of ceramic art and pottery to exhibit their works on a regular basis and have exposure to new ideas through exchange programs and workshops.
