Admission Notice: Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) 2023

• Program: Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA)
• Duration: Four year
• Application Fee: ₹0
• Specializations: Painting, Painting Indian Style, Modelling and Sculpture, Graphic Design/Applied Art, Textile Design, Design: Wood and Leather, Ceramic Art and Pottery
• Selection Process: Admissions will be based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance examination and viva-voce.
• Eligibility: Candidates must have completed HS examination 12th grade or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university as approved by University of Calcutta.
• Reservation: ST, SC, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS & PWD as per West Bengal government rules.
• Age Limit: 23 years as of 1st July 2023.
• All candidates applying for the specialisation of Modelling and Sculpture must bring 8 x 8 x 8 inches of prepared clay for practical examination. All other candidates including sculpture will bring basic materials of painting like quarter sheet board, pen, pencil, eraser, water colours etc.

• Application Deadline: 20.06.2023
• Entrance Examination: 03.07.2023 to 08.07.2023 (Specific date of entrance exam will be mentioned in the ‘Admit Card’ downloaded)
• Declaration of results of Entrance Exam: 12.07.2023
• Dates of viva-voce: 17.07.2023 & 18.07.2023 (Selected candidates will be informed of their viva dates through SMS and Emails)
• Declaration of final results of candidates to be admitted: 20.07.2023
• Dates for online admission: 21.07.2023, 22.07.2023 & 23.07.2023
• 1st semester classes will commence from: 25.07.2023
