The department of print making in GCAC prepares its students for a career by providing them with traditional knowledge on the basics of the subject. However, experimentation is also encouraged by the teachers, who are eminent artists in this field. BFA students who have completed their graduation can specialize in printmaking at post graduate level. Regular interaction with printmaking practitioners from around the world, through special lectures and workshops, helps the students of this department to understand the latest trends and develop their individualistic styles.
